Steilberg String Instruments uses FedEx Ground/ Home Delivery as our primary carrier of merchandise. Shipping costs, where applicable, are automatically calculated within the shopping cart. If you receive an error message on the shipping calculation, please call us and we will quote you the shipping costs for your order. The reason these errors are thrown is to keep you from being charged more than what you should pay.
Steilberg String Instruments does offer free standard ground shipping within the 48 contiguous United States on certain products sold via our website. These products include certain models from Taylor Guitars, Breedlove, Deering, and all USA-made G&L guitars and basses.
The true adventure (tongue firmly in cheek) of buying merchandise on the Web is navigating through the many retailers' shipping offers to determine what you'll truly be charged to receive your purchase. Well, we don't mean to remove that sense of adventure, but shopping with us is straight forward. How's this: we'll cover shipping costs on items that are labeled as such; costs will be paid by buyer on other items. We refuse, unlike other companies, to lure you in with promises of "Free Shipping" only for you to later find that your "oversized" items aren't covered. Really, we deal in musical instruments. Most are "oversized" as it pertains to shipping companies.
