When these first came in we couldn't believe it. This is a beautifully stained 15/14 that sounds incredible. The increased size gives it a warm full sound that resonates with added bass and sustain. The Pioneer is constructed with a Solid Sapele Top and veneer back, Maple bridges and Ash endrails. We think this is the best starter kit on any instrument. The package includes an X-brace sitdown stand, padded gig bag and electronic tuner. Masterworks considers a pioneer as "one who goes before, preparing the way for others, as an early settler".
