Truly a pinnacle in guitar building, it’s doubtful whether anyone can truly fathom the experience, genius, and years of blood, sweat, and tears that belong to the hands that create these guitars for you. The best of the best - Bob Taylor, Larry Breedlove, Ed Granero, Tim Luranc, and a very few of Bob’s handpicked expert luthiers are crafting these guitars individually, by hand, on a custom basis for a few lucky people who will get to call these sweethearts their own.
As Bob Taylor says: "With the resources of Taylor Guitars at my fingertips, I decided to start a new company that makes guitars in this fashion. One by one, with no detail too small. The quantity, almost by definition, is small because the talent needed to make guitars in this way is very, very rare and needs to fostered in a small shop environment."
At Steilberg String Instruments, we have been blown away by the premium quality, amazing tone, expert precision and other-worldly feel of these R. Taylor guitars. They may truly be the pinnacle of the modern acoustic guitar. Furthermore, considering their low numbers and custom options, the chances are good that you will wind up with a one of a kind guitar to boot.
There isn’t an honest guitar lover in the world who can deny Bob’s abilities, talents, and adept precision in guitar building, but this is another world – you owe it to yourself to play one.
