Yes! It's here, the long-awaited Cocobolo and Swiss Alpine Moon Spruce Guitar!

 

Swiss Alpine Moon Spruce is not one of Frank Zappa's children, it's a top shelf tone wood which grows at high altitudes in the Switzerland Alps. It is only harvested at certain time of the year, and never in mass quantities. With a soft white color and crisp clean sound, this is a very unique wood and pleasing to the ears of the truly demanding.

 

The vibrant Cocobolo back and sides are stunning to gaze upon, but tonally they stand above most other woods. With a clean rich sound and Rosewood-like volume, it is the perfect complement to the Moon Spruce Top.

 

Our favorite touch on a Cocobolo guitar is the addition of Flamed Maplebinding, and this speicmen is fantastic in that regard. Also the addition of a Cutaway and the ES Electronics make for a versatile beauty.

 

Other Customizing includes: a 65' radius top with the Asymmetrical Bracing, a 1 11/16" nut width, the Standard Scale legnth with the Slim-carve neck shape, and a Cocobolo headstock overlay and trussrod cover.
