The Hofner HML1-MC is a steal of a guitar with all solid wood construction, handbuilt by experienced hands in Hofner's German shop.

The Mahogany back and sides and Cedar top combine to create a warm, loud, clear sound with a rich bottom end. A Rosewood fingerboard and smooth matte finished mahogany neck provide a comfortable and durable playing surface. Cedar topped guitars such as this one are pleasing to many ears because of the deep complex sound. Though perhaps not capable of attaining quite the volume of a spruce topped model, the cedar offers a lovely live and warm sound many ears truly prefer.
