Here's an incredible offering from Taylor's new Custom Shop.  Not unlike a highly customized 615ce, this is officially titled a "Custom Jumbo," but we just call it bloody awesome!

   The back is 3 pieces of solid Maple and the sides are maple too.  It also has a Solid Sitka Top, but all of it is finished in a gloss black that will make people take immediate notice.  To offset the black the top is set with abalone purfling (holy smokes!) around the perimeter and the entire guitar is bound in black with a fine white line for definition. 

    The Florentine Cutaway is another eye-catching and practical option we couldn't say no to - it just looks so right on a jumbo.  Also exciting is the Slim Carve Neck Shape, which is one of the most comfortable things we've felt on an acoustic.  Furthermore, the ES system allows for great sound at any volume.

   Let's see...... are we missing anything...? OH YEAH, the tropical Vine Inlay on the fingerboard is the coup de gras.  This guitar sounds like a cannon and looks like a Hot Rod.  You are falling in love.......
