Turn back now!
Before it's too late...... please just move along.
You are only going to fall in love. This guitar has broken so many hearts already and we're not sure we can bear to see to another one hurt. But someone, some lucky soul, will pluck this from our wall like King Arthur pulled his sword, Excalibur, from the stone. It will be a match made in heaven for guitar and guitarist alike, and it's just what an instrument like this deserves. So if you, brave guitarist, seek a truly exceptional and beautiful guitar with a tone worthy of kings, try your hand at pulling this sword from the stone.
The Redwood top is simply striking - with deep darks varying from red to brown to grey with chocolate streaks defining character like the wrinkles on Einstein's face. And tonally, the top is a perfect match for the rare fiddle-back-grade curly Claro Walnut back and sides, adding a high end sparkle to a guitar already rich with robust and warm lows and mids. It really defies description - mere words cannot describe tone like this. You simply have to hear it.
The soundboard is R. Taylor's radiused top geometry and asymmetrical bracing for extra clarity and definition, while still retaining bass side flexibility. In terms of comfort, this things got the works: ebony binding with the ebony Laskin-style armrest (the binding IS the armrest and IS the binding again - just look!), the 24 7/8" short scale length, a 1 11/16" nut width, and the svelte RT Slim Carve neck shape.
Also exciting is the new Florentine (sharp) cutaway, incredibly elegant L.B. inlays and rosette, Jescar fretwire
(very dense for little wear and gold-ish in color) and the ES Stealth electronics - which is not invasive in the guitar.
Also includes an Ameritage Case and years and years of people falling in love with your guitar. To Camelot!
