It would actually be unfair to call this a Honeyburst finished mandolin - this job is much darker than any of the other ones we've had - it's actually almost dark leather colored at the edges.  So, we'll call it a leather-burst.  And it is truly stunning! 

  This is the second FO we've had in since we challenged Breedlove to come up with one.  This one differs because it also sports a Schertler Pickup aside from the darker finish - so you can plug in and broadcast yourself anywhere.  This actual piece is pretty fantastic looking in terms of woods and fit - the Breedlove crew actually took it with them to the NAMM show to display it.  Everyone else just wanted to buy it, but they couldn't - it was ours.  And now it can be yours.
