Are you up for the downstroke?  If you wanna funk, love to cry the blues, are a twangy country man, or in to rockin' like Dokken, this guitar will serve you well.  
Handbuilt in Fullerton, California at the G&L custom Shop, this S500 is like a Strat on steroids.  First off, the Spanish Copper finish and black pickguard look like a retro/classic/modern hybrid.  The Rosewood fingerboard is beautiful and has deep streaks of red and purple that matches the body uncannily. 
   But the magic is in the playability and tone of this monster.  The pickups are strong and clear with the midrange punch you expect, only with more of everything.  This guitar goes to 11.  The tone knobs are the G&L's PTB system, meaning one is a Trebel and the other is a Bass.  Eat that, strat.  Also you can use all 3 pickups or the two outer ones.  Eat that too, strat.  In your face!
