All solid wood and clean as a whistle - inside and out. If you've looked closely at some other resonators, they leave alot to be desired when it comes to precision, construction and fit. Not this sweetie - no sir-ee. The good folks in Montana have hit a grand slam with a beautiful addition to their already stellar lineup of acoustic instruments.
Featuring all solid mahogany back, sides and top and a 5 piece neck (mahogany w/ 2 walnut stringers), this thing is built to sound loud, full and woody. The spun cone and spider bracing create the indespensible whine, but Weber's original Carosel Sound-Well provides an incredible amount of volume and tone. It sounds like a great resonator, but with more depth and drive.
It also features a bone nut and maple bridge with an ebony insert on the treble side for durability. Mother of Pearl inlays touch it off with grace. Includes a nice hardshell case.
And tone for days man...... tone for days.
