It takes a special guitar to be called the Richard Gilewitz model. Not just any guitar can live up to the name of our buddy, the quirky 12-string king of oneliners and catchy fingerstyle tunes. To quote Will Ferrell in character as James Lipton looking to describe something that was too great for any word in his vocabulary, he made one up - "Scrumtralescent." And this guitar is most certainly scrumtralescent!
A jumbo body, with a solid Rosewood back and Solid Spruce top, the depth and volume are remarkable to the ear. By Richard's choice, it also features the L.R. Baggs M1 soundhole pickup for a very balanced and warm amplified sound. It's attractive to the eye (which Mr. Gilewitz can't really say about himself - just kidding Rich!), very well built and a pleasure for the ear.
Includes a hardshell case and the next time you see Richard he'll buy you a sandwich (that's not a guarantee).
